A filming coup for the region, 'The Traitors' was filmed across the Southern Highlands - with villages seen in the background.
A Channel 10 production spokesperson said The Robertson Hotel filled all the requirements they were looking for.
"The Traitors needed a hotel that would stand alone as its own character with grandeur, style and ambience and The Robertson fit that perfectly," they said.
"We were also looking for a location that could accommodate the cast and our filming needs.
"Our crew, host and cast all lived around the Southern Highlands for the shoot and the stunning locations in the area gave us many unique places to film in and we're very grateful to the community for welcoming us with open arms"
Owner Con Kotis previously spoke to ACM, the owner of the Southern Highland News about the filming experience.
"The production and crew spread the love through Robertson," he said,
"The contestants and some staff stayed in the hotel, and other staff and crew stayed throughout the Highlands."
Banished contestants MK and Chloe both enjoyed their time in the hotel and in the village of Robertson.
After filming wrapped up, MK went into town.
"I went into Robertson, and it's a beautiful town. I had two beers and two pies at the Robertson Pie Shop," he said.
Meanwhile, clairvoyant Chloe gushed about the energy in Robertson.
"The grounds are incredible," she said.
"There's beautiful energy around the trees.
"It's an incredible hotel, so beautiful. It's such stunning scenery that I would recommend everyone going."
Host of the show, Roger Corser could not be contacted for comment.
Formerly known as Ranelagh House and Fountaindale Grand Manor, the building was constructed in 1925 by prominent Southern Highland architect Alf Stephens and Sons.
The property has served as a hotel, a WRAAF base, as place of rest and recovery for returning soldiers post World War II, as a Franciscan Friary and seminary in 1947, in the 1980s the property served to protect injured wildlife and in 1995 the film 'Babe' was filmed on the grounds of the Robertson Hotel.
'The Traitors' will air on Sunday 7:30 pm on Channel 10.
