"It's a great show," he said.
"I love Roger and all those people, but it was like being stuck in a mansion with 24 powerful personalities.
"I love kindness, I love authenticity, and I love non-judgement. They're the take-home lessons I got from participating in 'The Traitors'.
"But as soon as we left the banishment room, everybody changed.
"Everybody was in it for themselves."
Initially hesitant to join the show due to the nature of his work, Michael said it was refreshing when he received a call to be a part of 'The Traitors'.

"They called and said this show might be up my alley with my background in policing and investigations," he said
"I thought about it a few times, and then I thought what a great opportunity it could be to have a bit of fun and come down to this beautiful hotel.
"I thought I would be able to use my skills to detect the traitors. and look at the end of the day, I didn't have enough time."
The show was filmed at The Robertson Hotel in the picturesque town of Robertson, Southern Highlands.
"After I was banished, I took the microphones off and walked down to the Robertson pub and had two schooners," he said.
"I went into Robertson, and it's a beautiful town. I had two beers and two pies at the Robertson Pie Shop."
Despite being banished early on in the show, Michael suspected Clair as one of the traitors.
"I did feel the check-out lady, Clair, was a traitor," he said.
"She started changing her demeanour, I think I mentioned it on the show.
"When I went to breakfast that morning I was going to help uncover the traitors. That's when Angus said I was signing my death warrant."
Looking back on the show, Michael felt that he shouldn't have told people he wasn't a traitor or disclosed his job.
"At the end of the day, I shouldn't have told them about my profession. Not too many people like the personalities of cops or lawyers," he said.
"If you blend into the crowd, I don't think you get noticed too much.
"But I'm a talker. I talk in court or to clients. It's a show full of so many personalities that want their $250,000, so everyone is in it for themselves.
"And I think anyone who presents a threat will be banished early on."
'The Traitors' airs Sunday, Monday and Tuesday on Channel 10 at 7:30pm.
