The committee selection was voted on at the annual general meeting on November 15, 2020.
Under the leadership of new president Neville Fredericks, the committee which includes vice president Andrew Pull, treasurer Vicki Stokes, secretary Sandra Major and committee members Aaron de Jager, Josephine Grieve and Nicholas Gray, plans for the pool will go ahead.
A former mayor of Kiama, Neville Fredericks thanked the voting members for the vote of confidence to lead the pool into a new era.
"I think the most important thing is to pull the community behind the project," he said.
"I see nothing more important than that and there will be ways in which we will be able to do that.
"The role I want to try and play is to pull everyone together and develop a clear plan and move ahead.
"It's quite a large project and there are still funds to be raised.
"I look forward to working with the committee and engaging with the community more broadly and in a positive way."
Outgoing secretary Ian Hunt said he wished the new committee well.
"It's good to see the results. I wish the new committee all the best, funding is going to remain their priority," he said.
Robertson local and passionate pool advocate Judy Fisk said she was happy there was a new committee to keep the plans for the pool going.
"I'm just happy that the association hasn't been liquidated," she said.
"All we want is a pool."
The new committee and the pool also have the support of English actress and Robertson resident Miriam Margolyes. Miriam is currently experiencing a second lockdown in Tuscany, Italy.
"I am absolutely delighted because the community wants a pool, it's what we gave money for," she said.
"I feel sad that I am not able to make a more substantial contribution to the activities but I love Robbo, it's a gorgeous little place and there are some very good people there.
"I've been there for 22 years and the pool was 10 years before I showed up, so it is a long-standing want and I think we deserve it."
