This involved an intensive day of theory and practical sessions on October 20 conducted at the Robertson Anglican Church Hall.
The most dramatic hands on sessions involved CPR for adults and infants on specially designed mannequins and also the use of Defibrillators.
A Men's Shed spoksperson said that with the "impressive new Robertson Men's Shed nearing completion, this training is timely."
They said it gave a level of confidence and self-assurance to members.
"It should be noted that full membership is open to both men and women wishing to improve their skills and enjoy the friendship for better health and well being," the spokesperson said.
"So don't be shy, come along, you will be given a warm welcome."
Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 10.00am at the new shed behind the CTC Robertson.
