Mid-week lunchtime recital with Clare Pryor
A musical mid-week treat
Clare Pryor will entertain guests with the organ at this concert. It is part of the St. Jude's Music Associations initiative to showcase emerging artists. People can enter with a donation and watch the concert on Wednesday, August 17 at St Jude's Church from 1.15pm.
Let Loose: Southern Highlands Textile and Fibre Network
Lots of creativity
After a two year hiatus, this group of creatives is going to 'let loose' with this exhibition. There will be works from felt makers, embroiderers, milliners, eco dyers and fibre artists on display. You can see the showcase from Friday, August 19 at the Bowral Art Gallery, but there will be a fashion parade opening on Saturday, August 20 from 1pm. The gallery is open from 10am to 4pm daily.
Mittagong Markets
This weekend
You can find handmade clothes, tasty treats and yummy food stalls and soaps this market - and that is just some of the things you will discover. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead. Make your way over to the grounds of the Mittagong Uniting Church on Saturday, August 20 from 8am to 2pm to see it all for yourself.
Harper's Mansion Open Days
This weekend
Come and explore the gardens, or have a picnic at this historical mansion in Berrima. Attendees are advised to secure a ticket for a timed entry in advance. The property is open on Saturday, August 20, and Sunday, August 21. A booking for two adults and two children is $26.99, adults can enter for $11.39 each and it is $9.31 for children over five. Children under five can enter for free. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.

This market is full of activities and stalls for everyone. Find crafts, antiques, delicious food and more. Head over to Bundanoon Public School on Sunday, August 21 from 8.30pm to 2pm.
Sunday painters with Lily Cummins
An artistic weekend
Create, paint and collage your own imaginary landscape with Lily Cummins. Channel your artistic flair at Ngununggula gallery on Sunday, August 21 from 10am to 1pm. The workshop is $127.69 per person and includes all of the supplies and materials. Places are limited and can be booked via Eventbrite.
The Mother's Club Musical

Step into the 80s and 90s and the ups and downs of motherhood with this one-woman show. It explores a 25 year journey from dating to having children. You can sit back and enjoy the show at Mittagong RSL on Sunday, August 21 from 3.30pm. Tickets are $30 per person, $300 f0r a group of 12, or two tickets can be secured for $60 with a Parents NSW voucher. People using vouchers can email their name, address, phone and voucher number to janekellaway@hotmail.com and tickets will be sent directly to them. You can book your spot through Trybooking.
Moss Vale Showground Market
This weekend
Grab some baked goods, a cup of coffee, pastries, artisan products and more at this market. Kids can also enjoy a miniature train ride throughout the day. Top it off by sitting back and relaxing under a shady tree. Visit the Moss Vale Showground from 9am to 3pm on Sunday, August 21 to check it all out. The Moss Vale Rotary Club is raising funds for community projects with gold donation buckets at the gate.
Imperial Stockings
An interweaving of history
This exhibition explores cross-cultural connections between the Highlands in our region and Scotland by Mittagong artist Annemaree Dalziel. There are pairs of long, hand-knitted socks that incorporate texts and iconic images in their designs. You can see it until Monday, August 22 at the Fundamental gallery in Mittagong.

Members of the Southern Highlands Photography Society are showcasing their creativity and passions in this unique exhibition. You can see it until Friday, August 26 at the Moss Vale Civic Centre. It is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
