St. Jude's Music Association held a special appeal for the series which aims to provide a place for emerging concert artists to perform a professional program.
The concert series organiser Felicity Woodhill said she spent four years living in New York with her daughter where they joined 'Music For Youth'.
"Through the organisation, my daughter had many opportunities to perform," she said.
Upon returning to Australia, Ms Woodhill said the opportunities just weren't the same.
"The only opportunities for emerging artists to play were really only during exams or at auditions," she said.
After discovering St Jude's Music Association and the Bowral community's love of music, Ms Woodhill wanted to continue to develop opportunities for emerging concert artists in the region.
There is a real commitment to music in Bowral which is harder to find in other places.

Performances will take place at St. Jude's church in Bowral. They will also be held at the Wollongong Art Gallery and potentially in Sydney or Canberra.
The first performance will be by internationally award-winning artist Annie Ma.
Ms Ma completed a Bachelor of Music Performance with First Class Honours at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and recently performed Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the SCM Symphony Orchestra.
"The emerging artist concert series is a wonderful platform for artists," Ms Ma said.
"The sharing aspect is crucial to the art of music-making and that is only made possible if there are people and a concert space to play.
"Every performance is an invaluable and treasured opportunity to me because it is never a given."
Performances will take place in Bowral on the first Wednesday of each month from August until December, with Annie Ma scheduled to perform on August 3 at 1.15pm.
Other emerging artists in the series include Beatrice Columbis and Laura McDonald, Elsa Li and Sophia Bae, Heesoo Kim, Alex Watts, Michael Dominis and Jack Quinn.
Ms Woodhill said an important difference with this series is that the artists would be paid for their performances.
"Often emerging artists are expected to play for free or for very little to gain exposure," she said.
While the performances will be free, donations from the Bowral community have ensured there are sufficient funds to pay the artists for their performances.
Ms Woodhill said she wanted to ensure the performances were accessible to people who may otherwise be unable to attend classical performances such as the elderly or parents with young children.
"By programming concerts during the daytime, we hope to increase access to live music while also providing exposure for emerging classical artists," Ms Woodhill said.
