Casey Halliday considers animals to be her "second best friends", and put her love of bonding with them the to the test at one of the country's largest agricultural shows.

The Wildes Meadow resident competed in the F002 Beef Cattle Parader's Competition qualifying round, at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on April 7.
As part of the event, she led her cow Spring Hill Kylie around in front of a judging panel.
"So you have to be confident with animals, show them around and make them look impressive," the former Chevalier College student said.

While the 18-year-old did not qualify for the next round, she said she "tried her hardest".
Competitors in this category were between 13 and 19 years old.
Miss Halliday initially competed in a qualifying round at the Moss Vale Show in March, and was one of 10 paraders chosen from many to progress to the Easter Show.
She has made it through these rounds in Moss Vale for the last three years.
The young parader competed in her first show at the age of seven and has not stopped since, where she has qualified for every show she has competed in.
Her skills and success have not only been showcased in NSW - she has also competed in national shows across the country.
The young parader said meeting people along the way at different shows has been the highlight.
