The concert at Centennial Vineyards on the the outskirts of Bowral was a perfect 10 for weather and entertainment.
And it was clear from the get-go that the crowd loved it.
The afternoon kicked off with the impressive electronic infused folk stylings of Gordi. This was followed by the bluesy rock sound of The Testkey Brothers. Both set the scene for a great day out.
But as the sun started to set the sounds of 80s and 90s began to hover over the crowd and echo through the vineyard as Crowded House stepped onto the stage.

Regardless of whether or not you were an avid fan of the band back in the day, one thing was certain Crowded House was renowned for a repertoire of impressive tunes that were sure to have you singing along - Something so Strong, Don't Dream It's Over, Better Be Home Soon and Four Seasons In One - just to name a few.
That is exactly what happened as those hits began to resonate from the stage. More impressive was the younger generation in the crowd loving every minute of the entertainment and also singing along to tunes that were hits even before they were born.
The return of the Day on the Green at Centennial Vineyards in the Southern Highlands was a definite 10 out of 10.
Here's looking forward to the next musical offering.
