The woman held the first prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10515, drawn Friday, December 31.
In addition to winning the $100,000 first prize, she also won a $1,000 consolation prize.
Moments after the draw and just hours before the end of 2021, an official from The Lott contacted the winner to deliver the news.
"Bulls***!" she exclaimed while her family erupted into celebrations around her.
"I'm shaking. The hairs on my arms are standing up!
"That is good news on New Year's Eve! Thank you!"
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the official she was glad she hadn't stumbled on the win herself.
"I'm glad you rang - if I'd just checked the ticket myself, I would've had a heart attack," she said.
"You've made my day.
"This will help me to work less in 2022 and retire earlier.
"I keep praying to the angels to help my kids. They keep telling me they can look after themselves, but I'd love to help them with this too."
Her winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased online.
