Charges laid after woman with stab wounds found in a car boot in the Southern Highlands
Two women were charged after another woman was found with stab wounds in the boot of a car in the Southern Highlands.
Police said on February 4 that they would allege in court that at about 11:30am on February 3, a member of the public called Triple Zero (000) to report seeing a hand waving from the rear taillight section of a white Holden sedan traveling on the Hume Highway at Pheasants Nest.

A Robertson man who sexually assaulted and took photographs of a "comatose" teenage girl he met on social media was sentenced to jail on February 12.
Jeffrey Robert Henry, 51, a Canadian national from Robertson, appeared at Goulburn District Court from custody on February 12. He pleaded guilty to sexual intercourse without consent, and two charges of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent.

A 32-year-old skydiver sustained serious fractures to his limbs and suspected spinal injuries when both of his parachutes did not deploy on February 11. He landed in a paddock in Wilton and lost consciousness from the impact.
CareFlight's Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance at 2pm and landed 15 minutes later in the paddock by the scene of the incident.
