The proudly a not-for-profit organisation KU Moss Vale Children's Centre has developed ways to support its children, families and local community.
Despite several children not currently attending due to social isolation, the educators have had a strong focus on maintaining their connections with families and the children's sense of belonging.

KU Moss Vale has been connecting with families through online platform Storypark and encouraging family involvement by recording educators reading stories and singing songs and providing visualisations for the children to view at home.
The centre has also been taking part in the 'rainbow trail' movement with children both at home and at the centre creating colourful chalk drawings on nearby driveways, footpaths, fences and buildings, and creating colourful rainbows to display and brighten people's lives, instilling a sense of happiness and joy in the community.
The children have also taken part in the "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" initiative which has been growing around Australia.
After reading the story to children, the staff placed a teddy bear in the centre's front window and notified families of the "We're Going on a Bear Hunt - Southern Highlands" Facebook page.
This was to encourage families could get involved by taking their children out for a walk, while remaining in isolation, and searching for the bears on display in their local neighbourhood.
KU Moss Vale provides quality early childhood education for children aged 0 - 5 years.
