The characters Nanny Piggins, Friday Barnes and the Peski Kids bring a lot of smiles to the young readers as they are carried off into their adventures.
The school will also welcome Jan Latta wildlife photographer and author of books on wild animals. The students will have the opportunity to enjoy sessions with both of these prolific and internationally well-known authors.
In the evening, the school is hosting a book launch and promotion event at Bradman Museum.
An invitation is extended to parents and community members to meet the authors in a social setting. Due to licensing regulations this will be an adults only event.
Guests will be welcomed at 7pm with a drink and canapes followed by presentations at 7:30pm in the theatrette. Afterwards a light supper will be served and the authors will be available to sign books and chat to guests.
