Bowral and District Hospital has been allocated $42,178,000 for its redevelopment for the 2019/20 financial year.
The estimated total cost is $68,663,000 and the project is due to be completed in 2021, according to the 2019/20 budget papers released on Tuesday.
The estimated spend on the redevelopment to June 30, 2019 is $20,077 million.
However, this week's announcement does not include the $55 million promised by health minister Brad Hazzard and Wollondilly MP Nathaniel Smith during the state election campaign.
The $55 million commitment was made on top of a $65 million commitment to stage one of the redevelopment.
An initial $50 million was first announced in the 2015/16 financial year and $15 million was added to the total in 2018.
The additional $55 million funding announcement brought the total estimated cost of the project to $120 million.
Public Health First (PHF) has previously pushed for the additional funds for stage two of the redevelopment.
"There was no mention of the $55 million [in the budget] that was the election promise," PHF spokesperson Edna Carmichael said.
Wollondilly MP Nathaniel Smith said "the money is coming".
"Be reassured we are committing to our election commitments," Mr Smith said.
Goulburn MP Wendy Tuckerman said she was pleased with this year's budget.
"The highlight of the budget is getting all my election commitments, that includes the Moss Vale bypass," she said.
Ms Tuckerman and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Andrew Constance announced an additional $14.3 million would be spent on stage one of the bypass project in March.
This brought the total for stage one to $20 million, as there was an existing $5.7 million commitment to the project.
"I'm looking forward to that now progressing and getting some timelines firmed up," Ms Tuckerman said.
The Goulburn MP said she had meetings to discuss the bypass in the next few weeks.
The budget also included funding for works at Moss Vale and Mittagong railway stations, as a part of a program to improve accessibility and upgrade facilities.
