The Polar Bears have taken the position at the top of the A grade competition ladder with a narrow win over second placed Sharks 6-4 on Monday evening.

The Polar Bears have proven to be the surprise team of the competition after taking out the wooden spoon in last year’s competition.
While there is a long way to go in this competition Polar Bears have registered more wins so far this year than in the whole of last year’s competition.
Polar Bears began strongly and found the net quickly for their first two goals.
Sharks responded with a goal and were pushing Polar Bears.
The half-time score was 3-1.
The second half became tense as Sharks came surging back to lock up the score at 4-4 at the end of the third quarter.
Polar Bears dug in and came up with two unanswered goals in the last period to take the match by two goals.
Sharks were without some depth this week and will look to reverse the score at their next meeting.
Mariners got themselves on an even keel after they recorded a good win over the Dolphins 11-5.
They were too strong scoring four unanswered goals in the first quarter.

The second period was even at two goals each but with a 6-2 half-time lead it looked like clear sailing ahead for the Mariners.
Dolphins gave their best after halftime as they took the quarter 2-0 and caused the Mariners to rethink their course, as they carried a 6-4 lead into the final period.
The Mariners came home with a wet sail, as they fired in five goals to the Dolphins one, for the final 11-5 scoreline.
Next Monday, November 26, the Sharks will take on the Mariners in the A grade competition while Polar Bears will face the Mariners.
The B grade competition was disrupted through various school activities so several social matches took place.
Teams taking the points on forfeit were Polar Bears B, Horton’s Heroes and Mariners.
In the B grade competition next week, Polar Bears will be up against Horton’s Heroes, Mariners will take on Oxley Blue and Oxley Gold face Dolphins.
Senior water polo matches are held at Frensham Pool on Monday nights with the junior games contested at Bowral Pool on Tuesday nights with under-12, under-14 and under-16 age groups.
On Tuesday night in the under-16 competition, SHWP Club Waterburras defeated Oxley Gold 5-2.
Oxley White had a 14-6 victory over Mariners Mariners while Oxley Blue defeated Bottlenose Dolphins 6-4.
