The 30-year-old was recognised a year in which she claimed two bronze medals at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympics and collected four medals on the World Cup Circuit while also completing a Masters of Physiotherapy.
Perrine said she was pleased to be recognised for her efforts over the past 12 months.
"It actually means quite a lot", she said. "As an athlete, you often get pigeonholed with your sport but there’s so much more to an athlete’s life that makes it so well rounded and this [award] gives a bit of a nod to the rest of my life.
"Academics and physiotherapy, working with other athletes, which is actually my passion, is a massive part of who I am so it’s really cool to be recognised as a well-rounded individual."
"Sharing the Paralympics with my ski team, my winter sports family… it’s just been an amazing year."
NSWIS CEO Kevin Thompson paid tribute to Perrine’s outstanding achievements both on and off the ski fields.
