Eight CrossFit athletes from the Southern Highlands blitzed the recent Bay Games fitness competition in Huskisson, with top three finishes for all contestants.
The eight athletes from Benton Crossfit Gym, travelled to Jervis Bay to compete in the annual Bay Games, which attracted 600 athletes from across NSW.
The event featured a range of water and land fitness challenges including running, swimming, paddleboarding, tyre flipping, giant worm workouts, assault bike races, squats and box jumps.

In the men’s individual competition, Ricky Garard, finished first, while brother, Ben Garard also made the podium in third position.
In the team’s division, the Benton male team of Ben Garard, Ricky Garard, Craig Horne and Shane Green finished a strong first while the Benton female team of Lizzy Blumentals, Hanan Chidiac, Janille Watson and Jessica Hall finished the women’s team event in second place.
