Man found with magic mushrooms
A man has been charged with possessing and supplying prohibited drugs after he was found to have magic mushrooms in his possession. On Thursday, May 17, police stopped a 22-year-old man from Moss Vale on Browley Street, Moss Vale.

Following enquiries the man was searched and police allegedly located a quantity of cannabis leaf and the prohibited drug, Psilocybin, commonly referred to as magic mushrooms.
The man was arrested and taken to Bowral Police Station.
He was later charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and one count of supplying a prohibited drug in relation to the Psilocybin.
He man was given conditional bail to appear Moss Vale Local Court on June 19.
Man fined after caught urinating in public
An 18-year-old man was fined $500 after he was caught urinating in Bong Bong Street, Bowral.
About 11.15pm on Saturday, May 19, police were patrolling Bong Bong Street when they saw a male urinating against a pylon.
Police approached the 18-year-old man from Wilton in relation to his conduct and advised him he would receive a Criminal Infringement Notice for behaving in an offensive manner in a public place.
The man left the scene. The infringement notice carries a penalty of $500.
Mid Range Drink Driving
A Mittagong man will face court in July after he was charged with mid range drink driving.
About 12.45am on Sunday, May 20, police stopped a Suzuki, on Bong Bong Street, Bowral. Police spoke with the 23-year-old male driver and he was subjected to a roadside breath test which proved positive. He was arrested and taken to Bowral Police Station. A breath analysis produced a reading of 0.117. The man’s driver’s licence was immediately suspended and he was issued a Court Attendance Notice for middle range drink driving. He will appear at Moss Vale Local Court on July 17.
