It has been lifted by the state government to help affected residents get back on track.
The waiver covers flood-damaged household items such as building materials, furniture, carpet, gardening debris and other products.
Residents who have had significant damage at their properties due to severe weather can now dispose of their damaged waste at the Resource Recovery Centre without having to pay the state-based levy.
People are advised there might be longer waiting times than usual.
The waiver will be in place until June 30.
The Resource Recovery Centre in Moss Vale is open from 7am to 4pm every Monday to Saturday, and 7am to 1.30pm every Sunday.
