Led by Berrima resident Lynn Watson, who has called the village home for more than 20 years, Berrima Walking tours launches on January 20.
Guided walks take place every Saturday and Sunday from 10am for an hour.
"Berrima is a perfectly preserved Georgian village, one of only three still standing in Australia and filled with stories to be told," she said.
"Few know that Augustus Pugin designed the Houses of Parliament in London and he also designed the heritage listed St Francis Xavier church in Berrima, or that the Berrima Gaol housed German interns on day release during the first World War."
Attendees will learn about stories of early settlers, inn keepers, convicts and the women that made history in the town.
Lyn was also chaired the Charlotte Project to install a statue of Australia's first children's author Charlotte Atkinson, which is now in Berrima's Marketplace Park.
She was also on the committee of the Battle of Berrima to stop a coal mine.
Tours are open to the public, or for private groups of six or more on request.
Berrima was named as NSW's top town in 2021 in the population of 5000 people or less category.
