The branch presented a cheque from its June event to Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) CEO Christine Cockburn, during their August 3 meeting.

The parade, which was in collaboration with the Illawarra Machine Knitters, was held at The Oak Tree Retirement Village in Moss Vale.
The RCA aims to improve the quality of lives and health outcomes of people living with rare and less common cancers.
The SHE CWA will continue to support the charity with its annual Christmas gift wrapping fundraiser in the Springett's Arcade, where they wrap presents for a gold coin donation.

The branch has supported a variety of causes and groups such as OzHarvest and the Bowral Uniting Church, creating handmade rugs for Lismore flood victims and raising funds for different charities.
Members have also voiced their concerns and lobbied about different issues.

Wollondilly group and SHE CWA publicity officer Jill Dyson, and SHE CWA President Jennifer Woodwell attended the CWA NSW conference as delegates, to pass motions that prioritise issues in the regions.
The branch meets at the Mittagong CWA room in Winifred West Park on the first Thursday of every month, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
