It was the official celebration since the school opened 150 years ago in March, 1872.
The momentous occasion was marked with a community fair on September 24, with activities such as rides, face painting, a petting zoo, market stalls and live entertainment.
"This year is all about the community for us," said Robertson Public School Gordon Parrish.
"The school has grown and evolved with the community."
Aunty Trish Levett conducted a smoking ceremony and a welcome to country in the Gundungurra language.
It would not have been a celebration without a cake, and to cut it, was the school's oldest alumni, 97-year-old Gladys Fisk.
The former student has many memories of her time at school.
"I enjoyed my days at Robertson [Public] School and made lots of friends," she said.
"I had the same friends for life."
Daughter Wendy, who was a student in the 1960s and 1970s, said the school has drastically changed and grown.
Alumni Reta South reminisced about when she walked to school and used to open the railway gates for cars, and some drivers, she laughed, gave her a small tip.
When people walked around the school grounds, they also saw an ornate cow donated by the Robertson Show, which has been decorated by three students.
Once the fair was over, past and present students, enjoyed a celebratory dinner at the Robertson Bowling Club.
