Member for Wollondilly Nathaniel Smith said a $74,595 grant for the 2022 Bowral Tulip Time Festival would ensure this year's event was bigger and better than ever with live music, local food and drink, and a Tulip Time after-dark experience.
Mr Smith said Tulip Time featured one of Australia's oldest and most highly anticipated floral festivals.
"Tulip time is the prettiest time of year in Bowral, with the incredible displays in Corbett Gardens comprised of over 75,000 tulip bulbs and 15,000 annuals blooming in spectacular array," he said.
"The tourism dollars the festival brings to Bowral and surrounding towns will give local businesses welcome cash injection, as the well-loved event draws thousands of locals and visitors alike.

"This year will also feature Tulips After Dark, where guests can wander through the lit tulip display, have a local wine at the bar, and listen to the live bands play on the Victorian Pagoda."
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said the Regional Events Acceleration Fund was supporting the growth of existing regional events and attracting new major domestic and international events to regional NSW.
"Money is rolling out right across Regional NSW, helping local events go from strength to strength and putting our regions on the map," he said.
"We know that hosting events in regional areas attract visitors to towns. Those guests will spend money in local shops, grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant or café, and boost regional businesses and economies.
"Since its inception, the Regional Events Acceleration Fund has supported the delivery and development of more than 80 events, with more than one million visitors travelling to the regional areas where these events are held."
Wingecarribee Shire Council General Manager Lisa Miscamble said the funding had allowed Wingecarribee Shire Council to expand its Tulip Time offering to stage Tulips After Dark.
"Visitors will be able to see the tulip displays lit up, listen to local bands, and enjoy local wines, which will be held every Friday and Saturday night during Tulip Time," she said.
"I'm delighted to put on such an iconic event for locals and visitors thanks to the Regional Events Acceleration Fund."
The $40 million Regional Events Acceleration Fund is part of the $3.3 billion Regional Growth Fund, designed to support growing regional centres, activate local economies and improve services and community infrastructure for regional communities.
Applications for Round Two of the Regional Events Acceleration Fund are now open and close at 5 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
