Wingecarribee Shire Council wants to hear your feedback about a plans for an off-leash dog park, which has secured a $150,000 grant.

It was recommended by residents as a top priority, when council sought feedback to apply for the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery (BSBR) Grants Program in August, 2021.
The initiative, which is under the National Recovery and Resilience Agency, aims to support community recovery and resilience.
The dog park fell under the BSBR's criteria to address the built environment.

It will be built at the existing off-leash area at Jordan's Crossing, and the location cannot be changed.
Planned features for the park include the following:
- Two rubbish bins;
- Three park seats;
- Two dog waste bag dispensers;
- A drinking fountain and water supply;
- Planting more trees;
- Drainage;
- A 1.2 metre high galvanised welded mesh roll top and tubular post fence;
- Three remote supervision signs;
- Six 90 centimetre wide single gates, with two posts with areas to latch dogs off and on leads;
- Two 3.5 metre wide gates with two posts.
Feedback must be provided by August 12 at 4.30pm via the submission form on the WSC website, emailing mail@wsc.nsw.gov.au, or mailing a submission to Wingecarribee Shire Council, PO Box 141, Moss Vale 2577.
