But it's not like 2022 has exactly been straightforward with adverse weather and an opposition player shortage delaying the start to their Group 7 Regan Cup campaign by two weeks.

They'll face Albion Park Outlaws at 3pm in Bowral and new coach Trevor Schodel revealing he has a unique philosophy he wants his side to follow.
"This weekend I want to have a grind," he told the News.
"I call it patience, effort and grind - PEG. We don't have to win, I want to see them control the ball and work as one in attack and defence and slowly build on that.
"I want to win the two points as well but at the same time it's not a sprint."
After the club initially held concerns about player numbers earlier in the year, they will now carry a squad of 26, creating some good problems for Schodel.
"We have a squad of 26 now, there's some quality there as well," he revealed.
"To attract players we need to win games and be competitive. We want to make our players happy and enjoy their football, some of them haven't played for a while because of COVID.
"I brought it up on Tuesday night[at training]. We're going to have a rotation system, we have to. On top of that if someone can't play and the player who comes in has a blinder, they might keep that spot.
"Competition is a good thing to have at the club."
Sunday will be another milestone for the club founded in 2019 with the inaugural Under 18's side sharing a matchday with the grade team for the first time, a relationship Schodel wants to see flourish.
"Our boys will be there to clap them on," he said.
"It's not an us and them scenario. I reckon a couple of the Under 18s can hold their own in third grade so there might be a bit of reward there later in the season."
