Stations will be set up at:
- The corners of the Old Hume Highway and Wombeyan Caves Road in Mittagong, where sandbags are unavailable from the SES Wingecarribee Unit headquarters.
- Stephens Park, 12-28 Derby Street in Bowral, to the right of the amenities block.
- Moss Vale Saleyards, 205 Berrima Road, Moss Vale. Sandbags have not been delivered to this station yet, and updates will be made on the Wingecarribee SES and SES Moss Vale Unit Facebook pages once they are available.
- Opposite the Colo Vale Community Hall on 28 Railway Avenue.
- The RFS Robertson Station on 1 Wallangunda Street.
Those who collect sandbags from these locations must text their names, addresses and number of sandbags taken to 0427 269 495.
This allows SES units see where supplies are being taken from and restock stations when needed.
Used sandbags are considered contaminated and cannot be returned or collected and must be disposed of by residents.
Those who need assistance during floods and storms should call 132500 and call 000 in an emergency.
