A NSW Police spokesperson has confirmed that male motorcycle rider has died at the scene.
"About 10.20am Tuesday 15 February 15, 2022, emergency services were called to the intersection of Argyle Road and Waite Street, Moss Vale, following reports a truck and motorcycle had collided," they said.
"The male rider was trapped under the truck before being released. He suffered critical head injuries and CPR was performed at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, however, he could not be saved."
The police spokesperson said the rider had not been formally identified.
"The driver of the truck was not injured and was taken to Bowral Hospital for mandatory testing," they said.
"Diversions are currently in place and motorists are urged to avoid the area."
Police are appealing for witnesses - including motorists with dashcam vision or nearby business with CCTV of the crash - to come forward and contact Southern Highlands Police.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

A truck and motorcycle crash at the corner of Argyle Street and Waite Street, Moss Vale has closed the road in both directions.
Ambulance NSW received a call shortly before 10:30 after reports of a motorcycle and truck crash. Three ambulances and a rescue helicopter were dispatched.
An Ambulance NSW spokesperson said the motorcyclist was a man in his 50s and suffered "significant head injuries".
A Southern Highlands police spokesperson said the road would be closed in both directions for some time pending an investigation.
Residents are advised to exercise caution and allow for additional travel time. Diversions are in place via Spring Street and Railway Street.
