Yerrinbool Railway Garden
Highlanders are welcome to explore the garden every Monday from 10am to 12pm. The community garden was founded in 2018 by volunteers who want to produce healthy and fresh produce. There is also a mini market on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Bowral Uniting Church Grocery Pantry
The Bowral Uniting Church pantry is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-1pm. The pantry is located around the side of the church's office. Groceries are free and have been donated by local businesses. COVID practices are in place at the church. A free takeaway lunch is also available every Wednesday.
JP Service
Two certified Justice of the Peace volunteers are going to witness documents weekly at the following locations:
- Springett's Arcade, Bowral: every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm
- Moss Vale IGA: every Thursday from 10am to 1pm
- Mittagong Market Place: every Saturday from 10am to 1pm
COVID measures are going to be in place and attendees must wear masks.

Railway Street Farmers Market
- Every Thursday, Corners of Railway Street and Spring Street, Moss Vale, 3-6pm
Grab some seasonal produce harvested by local growers this week. Highlanders also have the opportunity to meet the growers at the market.

Mittagong Creek Rivercare Group
- February 10, Sherwood Avenue, Bowral, 9am-12pm
This group is determined to remove woody and herbaceous weeds along the land on Mittagong Creek between Mount Road and Willow Road Bowral. They want to encourage regeneration in the area.
Bushcare and Rivercare working bees occur on a fortnightly or monthly basis and participants must be registered as volunteers with council if they would like to participate. Sites vary, and members will be notified about any changes in location prior.
Those who are interested must complete the online application form and will then be contacted by council.

Scottish dancing
- Every Thursday, Bowral Presbyterian Hall, 10.30-11.30am
Southern Highlands Scottish Country Dancing will make a comeback next month. New dancers welcome.

Exhibition: Creative and Thriving
- Until February 11, Council's Civic Centre, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on weekdays
This inclusive art exhibition celebrates over 20 local artists and makers with a disability for the International Day of Disability. Artists who have chosen to have their works for sale will have all proceeds go directly back to them.
Crop Swap Robertson
- Every Saturday, Robertson CTC, 9-10.30 am
Highlanders can grab fresh and seasonal fruits, vegetables and eggs weekly. A table is set up for people to put their produce, and swap with others. Attendees must adhere to social distancing and wear a mask. Magazines, plants and flowers are also welcome.

Highlanders have the opportunity to attend services in-person or stream them online.

Southern Highlands Parkinson's Support Group Meeting
- February 15, the Springs Room in Mittagong RSL, 10am
The meeting will start at 10am with morning coffee and catch ups before moving to the agenda items at 10.30 am. The support group's meeting and activity schedule for the year will be revealed. The guest speaker will be a local exercise physiologist who will talk about Parkinson's and exercise.
All are welcome. Lunch will be held in the club bistro from 12pm.

International Women's Day Breakfast
- March 8, Mittagong RSL Club, 7.30am
The Moss Vale Evening CWA is partnering with WSC again to hold their annual International Women's Day celebration with a breakfast. Senior female students from high schools in the region will be invited to join and network with other women. Bookings will commence at the RSL in mid February.
