Bowral Uniting Church Grocery Pantry
- Returning January 18, 10am-1pm
The pantry at Bowral Uniting Church will re-open open later this month on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The pantry is located around the side of the church's office. Groceries are free and have been donated by local businesses. COVID practices are in place at the church. A free takeaway lunch is also available every Wednesday.
JP Service
Two certified Justice of the Peace volunteers are going to be at each desk weekly:
- Springett's Arcade, Bowral: every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm
- Moss Vale IGA: every Thursday from 10am to 1pm
- Mittagong Market Place: every Saturday from 10am to 1pm
COVID measures are going to be in place and attendees must wear masks.

Public Forum and Extraordinary Meeting of Council
- January 19, Council chambers and streamed online, 3pm
Council business items and tenders are going to be on the agenda at this week's meeting.
Highlanders who attend in-person must show proof of vaccinations, wear masks and check in via the QR codes, and must reserve their spot here.
Plugged at the pool
- January 19, Bundanoon Swimming Pool, 11am-2pm
Come along for a sausage sizzle, live music and giant board games this week in Bundanoon!
This is an all ages event, and pool entry fees apply.

Railway Street Farmers Market
- Returning January 20, Corners of Railway Street and Spring Street, Moss Vale, 3-6pm
Grab some seasonal produce harvested by local growers this week. Highlanders also have the opportunity to meet the growers at the market.

Fun in the Arcade
- January 20, The Venue, 44 Station Street, Bowral, 10am-2pm
Children can enjoy some gaming this week with Community Links Wellbeing. There will be an arcade full of assorted games such as pinball machines, consoles, basketball and race car machines, and pizza and refreshments will also be provided.
Carers and guardians must supervise children under the age of 10.

Crop Swap Robertson
- January 22, Robertson CTC, 9-10.30 am
Highlanders will once again have the chance to grab fresh and seasonal fruits, vegetables and eggs this Saturday. A table is set up for people to put their produce, and swap with others. Attendees must adhere to social distancing and wear a mask. Magazines, plants and flowers are also welcome.
Exhibition: Creative and Thriving
- Until January 28, Council's Civic Centre, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on weekdays
This inclusive art exhibition celebrates over 20 local artists and makers with a disability for the International Day of Disability. Artists who have chosen to have their works for sale will have all proceeds go directly back to them.
Scottish dancing
- Returning February 3, Bowral Presbyterian Hall, 10.30-11.30am
Southern Highlands Scottish Country Dancing will make a comeback next month. New dancers welcome.
