A total of 11,054 COVID tests have also been conducted in the local government area in this period.

Today's (January 16) NSW Health update revealed that 34,660 COVID cases were recorded across NSW during this period.

A total of 13,682 cases were via Rapid Antigen Tests and 20,978 were from PCR tests.

From these cases, 2650 were reported to be in hospital, and 191 in intensive care.

Twenty people have also died during this period.

The number of residents across NSW who have had one vaccine has remained unchanged at 95.2 per cent, and double vaccination rates have remained at 93.8 per cent.

The number of triple-vaccinated residents has increased from 24.2 per cent (January 15) to 25.4 per cent.

A total of 82.1 per cent of children between the ages of 12 and 15 have had one vaccination, and 78.4 per cent have been double vaccinated.

The amount of children aged between five and eleven years old who have had one vaccination has risen from 8.9 per cent (January 15) to 11.5 per cent.

More than 95 per cent of residents across the Wingecarribee Shire have had one or two vaccinations against COVID-19.
