Art, Body and Mindfulness at Ngununggula

Highlanders can connect with their inner selves and calm surroundings every Tuesday with some Tai Chi. Tai Chi with instructor Stephen Atkinson will guide participants through different meditation exercises.

Two new movies will be playing in the Highlands this week. Indulge in some opera with Metropolitan Opera: Fire Shut Up In My Bones and Benedict Cumberbatch stars in the Western drama The Power of the Dog.

Harper's Mansion Open Days

Come and explore the gardens or have a picnic at a historical mansion in Berrima. Attendees are advised to secure a ticket for a timed entry in advance.

2021 John Copes Prize for Watercolour Painting
- November 20 - December 5, Bowral Gallery, daily from 10am - 4pm
Come and discover a world of watercolour this weekend from a variety of artists. A total of $3000 will be awarded for first prize, $600 for second and $400 for third place. An artist will also be awarded the People's Choice and receive $200.
The exhibition opens on November 20 at 4pm.
La Serenissima Reflections Of The Decadence And Decay Of Venice
- Until December 6, Milk Factory Gallery, 10am - 4pm
Artist Bruce Chanter brings his love of Venice to life in this new exhibition. Forty-two oil paintings and eight drawings and photographs will be featured in the gallery. The artworks will explore the history, colours and textures of the Italian city.

Exhibition: Land, Sea and Form
- Until November 27, CTC Robertson, Thursday and Friday from 10am - 4pm and Saturday 10am - 1pm
Highlands artist Hazel Richardson is bringing her love of nature to life in this month's exhibition in Robertson. It is a collection of acrylics and mixed media on canvas, and the paintings are for sale. The café at the centre will also be open.
Coffee sales support the centre and its community projects.
Photography masterclass with Tamara Dean
- November 27 - 28, Ngununggula, 3.30pm - 8.30 pm
Photography lovers will have the opportunity to be mentored by multimedia artist Tamara Dean over a weekend in November. Ms Dean is the inaugural solo exhibitor at the Ngununggula gallery with her installation High Jinks in the Hydrangeas.
She will provide participants with insight into her artistic process, give a tour of her exhibition and help them create a photographic scene on the first day. A light dinner will also be provided on the first day.
Participants must have a Digital SLR camera, a tripod and intermediate photography skills.
Ngununggula staff will then schedule a one-on-one session with Tamara and the participants to discuss the work produced in the session on the second day.
