Over one hundred roses, many of which would have featured in Australian gardens prior to 1900, will be in full bloom.

It's a great opportunity to see the roses blooming en masse and to appreciate their wonderful scent - walking among these roses is an experience to be savoured.
Now well established, the roses alongside the path leading to the house were planted by well-known local gardener Heather Cant in the 1990s, the rest in 2011, some obtained from the late Sue Kingsford's nursery 'Roses and Friends' at Fitzroy Falls.
There will be a selection of roses for sale as well as plants grown by our volunteers.
The roses are the main feature of the two-acre garden, but there's much more to see and enjoy. Visitors can take in the herb and medicinal garden, a peony display, the orchard and the maze. There's plenty of seating to enjoy a packed picnic.
The decision comes in the wake of the National Trust's decision to gradually reopen its 21 heritage properties across NSW.
National Trust CEO Debbie Mills said it had been a long process and thanked volunteers as sites reopened.
"We are delighted to gradually reopen our properties, we have missed sharing these wonderful places over the past four months with both locals and visitors," she said.
"We have carefully reviewed where and how we can reopen our doors to ensure our volunteers, staff and visitors remain safe.
"As the properties gradually reopen, we also welcome new volunteers. We couldn't do our vital work without the contribution from our amazing volunteers."
The garden and maze will be open Saturday and Sunday, November 6-7 from 11am until 3pm and again on the weekend of the November 20-21.
Bookings can be made at the Eventbrite website - follow the links from: https://www.nationaltrust.org.au/places/harpers-mansion/
Tickets can also be obtained at the gate.
This is a COVID safe event. All visitors must show their proof of vaccination certificate or medical exemption.
