It will also be the opportunity for people across the state to enjoy the warmer weather, kick back and plan more outdoor activities in a COVID safe way.
Make sure you put your wall clocks and watches an hour forward on Saturday night, because daylight saving begins on October 3 at 2am.

Those living in Victoria, the ACT, Tasmania and South Australia will also have to put their clocks forward.
Daylight saving will finish on Sunday, April 3.
