Stan and Gloria Campbell also tied the knot.
The parents of, Kevin, Graham and Caryl married at 3pm on September 23, 1961, at the Methodist Church (Uniting) in Moss Vale.
The couple are now celebrating their diamond anniversary.
The couple have four grandsons and a great granddaughter and also love Jack and Blake Channells like their own grandchildren.
Throughout the 60 years, the couple would have had many good times, but the best was when their children and grandchildren were born.
Sixty years is a very long time, but Mr Campbell explained the reason they were able to stay by each other's side.
"The key to a happy marriage is devotion, love, communication and to share and enjoy the same things in life," Mr Campbell said.
"It takes two to tango."
So what are their most endearing qualities? Caryl said it was his father's humour and his mother's love.
"My father's most endearing quality would have to be his different sense of humour," she said.
"He has dad jokes that made mum laugh even though, most of the time, she didn't get the joke or the meaning and would just laugh along.
"My mum's most endearing quality is without a doubt her love, commitment, devotion and loyalty to her family. She always goes above and beyond for her family and works extremely hard to give everything she could."
