The now year 12 student at Moss Vale High School set out to involve the whole community in his quest to raise money for R U OK, and in doing so, received community support.
With face masks and socks on sale across pharmacies in Moss Vale and at the high school, the young mental health awareness advocate achieved his goal and raised $4000 for R U OK.
"I'm really happy and proud," he said.
Jeremy also thanked the community for getting behind him and his cause.
"All the pharmacies in Moss Vale got involved to raise money," he said.
His fundraising efforts haven't gone unnoticed, with R U OK sending Jeremy a trophy and a certificate of gratitude for his efforts.
"I emailed them and told them the funds we had raised and they sent me a lot of things," he said.
"I just wanted to update them on our efforts."
Jeremy thanked his school principal, Ms Patricia Holmes, for the support he received from the school and the virtual assembly they held for him.
"Without the school's support, I wouldn't have been able to start this at all," he said.
"The virtual award assembly was good, I'm glad it was able to happen.
"The community put in a lot of work and I'm glad it was recognised."
He now hopes to create an enduring legacy of supporting R U OK as he enters his last year of high school.
"I'm looking forward to doing it again next year," he said.
"I want it recognised for a long time.
"I just need to work it out and make sure it doesn't affect my grades but I have people that can help me out."
