For one family that will include making the most of the great outdoors.
Mum and keen photographer, Tanya Galwey loves the opportunity to capture her children enjoying the fresh air and many great natural scenes in the Southern Highlands.
She recently captured siblings Christopher, 5, and Eliza, 7, and friend, George, 5, immersed in adventure and exploration along Berrima River Walk.
"They enjoyed exploring bushland, including the spectacular yellow wattle trees on the walk," she said.
"Bring on blue skies this spring season."
Tanya is looking forward to more adventures in the great outdoors during the school holidays.
The good news is that there are plenty of wonderful buskwalks and natural attractions across the Southern Highlands.
