Businesses such as ANZ Bowral had to quickly adapt to serve the Highlands community whilst they searched for a new space.
That search ended earlier this month - the bank has been temporarily established in the Highlands Marketplace in Mittagong, whilst it has been rebuilt in Bowral.
ANZ Bowral branch manager Amber Power wanted customers to know it has been business as usual since the branch opened on August 9.
"The fact we have pulled together so quickly has been amazing," she said.
"We're ready to serve customers and excited to have a fully operational space."
"We have been committed to Bowral, and to rebuilding our permanent branch there which would take some time," said ANZ district manager of the ACT and NSW South Coast Matt Parkinson.

The branch initially had some staff working from home or in Bowral's BDCU Alliance Bank to offer face-to-face assistance after the fire.
A temporary ATM was also installed near the Coles loading dock in Bowral in the meantime.
Ms Power said the branch contacted over 2000 customers before the re-opening and "checked in with them and offered different banking solutions".
Mr Parkinson was also thankful for the community's patience whilst they searched for a new space.
A Smart ATM has also been put in place outside the new branch for customers to access 24 hours a day.
