Destination Southern Highlands have announced that this year's much awaited Tulip Time Festival - cancelled last year due to concerns about mass gatherings due to COVID-19 - has again bitten the dust in its usual format.

But some of the colour and delight will be brought to nature lovers in an online arrangement, with details yet to be revealed.
"Safety is our number one priority but we don't want you to miss our on our beautiful displays so we are going to bring Tulip Time to you online," said the Destination Southern Highlands announcement this morning.
"All tickets will be automatically refunded and you will receive a notification of how to engage with us from home."
The event was due to run from September 17-October 4, and thousands of bulbs are in the ground ready to spring out.
It is the 60th anniversary this year of the festival, which is one of Australia's oldest and best-loved floral festivals.
Destination Southern Highlands suggested ticket holders check the Facebook page or subscribe via their website for updates.
