The secret decorators known as the Pom-Pom Fairies have braved the cold weather, and hung the wool balls through the trees, and railings of Bundanoon on June 29.
"They put a smile on my dial," said resident Michelle Maher.
The fairies usually adorn the town around the time of Bundanoon Winterfest, but it was was unfortunately cancelled for a second year in a row due to restrictions.
A fellow fairy said there are 55 fairies who have contributed over the years, and their pom-poms have "gained more attention this year."

"The Pom-Pom fairies just did it for the joy and fun of it," she said.
"Pom-poms are a very accessible craft, so all craft members in the 'noon could contribute."
The craft group Needles and Natter, the charity shop The Good Yarn, staff and residents of Warrigal aged care, and locals have created, and donated pom-poms for the fairies to use.
"All the love that went to creating them was shared with everyone," said Bundanoon resident Tracy Brown Penfold.
Residents have also expressed the joy they have provided during the restrictions.
"Seeing them on the trees giving us a warm hello, lets us know that many people wanted to cheer us up with little puffs of hope," said fellow Bundanoon resident Marie Klaussen.
"It has brightened up the town, and made me feel happy during this complicated time," added local Debbie Catlin.
