The 18-year-old man was bushwalking with three friends - another man aged 18 and two girls aged 17 - about 2.20 pm on Saturday June 26, when they arrived at Belmore Falls, Robertson.
About 30 minutes later, the man was seen to fall 40 metres from the top of the falls onto rocks.
Emergency services were called to the scene; however, the man had died at the scene.
