The Koala Day of Action aims bring the community together on Saturday to raise awareness, and outrage over the mass land clearing, which influences the rapid decline of the koala population.
"Pocket by pocket is getting destroyed," said organiser Leon Gross.
"As an individual, I thought it was an important issue to get people together for."
The march has also taken place in Lismore, Sydney and Thirlmere.
Attendees are invited to dress up for the event and create signs and banners to display while they march.

"We want people to realise what's actually going on," Mr Gross continued.
"Why are we developing land that is covered in bush when we have a climate emergency and we keep knocking down trees?"
Mr Gross has extended an invitation to members from the Greens, Labour and independent parties that he hopes will attend in solidarity.
He urges the Highlands community to reach out to local members to voice their concerns.
People can meet at Corbett Plaza at 11:00am for the march.
Mr Gross said a Covid Safe plan had been submitted, and that face masks were not required at the moment.
Attendees are advised to practice social distancing from other individuals, and bring hand sanitiser to the event.
