Sonoma Bakery opened their Bowral store in December last year and have quickly established themselves in the local food scene.
Traditionally known for sourdough, the bakery is now branching out with hot pastries and on 1 June they'll officially launch their 'Great Pie Hunt'.
It's all part of the broader Pie Time celebration run by Destination Southern Highlands where local pie makers show off their skills with a 'Hero Pie.'
Sonoma will be hiding pie tokens around Bowral and releasing clues via their Instagram page. Find a token and you'll get to try one of their meat pies for free.
As part of Pie Time they are showcasing two offerings, a beef and beer pie made with Young Henry's 'Motor Oil' porter as well as a cider, pear and cranberry dessert pie.
Dates: 1-30 June 2021
Token release dates: 5, 12, 19, 26 June 2021
25 pie tokens will be hidden on each Saturday release date. Clues will be given via radio and social media on Thursdays.
