Ms Bhattarai has been a nurse for over 13 years and has spent the last two and a half years working at Harbison in Moss Vale.
"I will always be a nurse," she said.
"When I see my residents, I can see their problems.
"I can collaborate with them to make their lives better."

International Nurses Day is celebrated worldwide every May 12 and commemorates the impact nurses have on the health and well-being of our lives every day.
The milestone pays tribute to the birth and legacy of modern nurse Florence Nightingale.
Ms Bhattarai celebrated the occasion with colleagues and residents with an afternoon tea filled with sweet treats.
Ms Bhattarai said that "everything" about the job is rewarding.
"If they are having their last moments and I can contribute to making them more peaceful, it makes me proud," she added.
