A pilot has survived a crash landing of his ultralight plane southwest of Sydney.

The aircraft crashed near Wilton Airport on Sunday afternoon, with three ambulance crews dispatched to the scene.
When they arrived, the 48-year-old man was found underneath the aircraft which had come to rest on its side.
"Luckily the patient was not pinned as our paramedics worked to treat the male," NSW Ambulance Inspector David Kynaston said.
He suffered chest, pelvic and lower leg injuries and was treated at the scene before being flown to Sydney's Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
NSW Police said local detectives and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau were investigating the circumstances of the crash.
