It is one of the major fundraisers for the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens showcasing several spectacular gardens across the Wingecarribee Shire in all their autumn glory.
The featured gardens include The Copes Garden and Bibury at Burradoo, Greenbrier Garden in Bowral, Sutton Tops at Sutton Forest and the Morton Views at Bundanoon.
Another highlight of the weekend event is the Plant Fair at the botanic gardens on the corner of Old South and Kangaloon Roads in Bowral.
This fair will this year feature an impressive variety of stalls as well as the sale of some native and rare plants that have been propogated and nurtured by the voluntary team in the botanic gardens nursery. Many of the plants for sale are also showcased within the ever-developing botanic gardens.
Other stall holders include Camellias R Us, Digadoo, Exeter Designer Plants and Telopia Tools Sharpening Services to name a few.
The Plant Fair will run from 9am to 4pm on both days and entry costs $10 to the fair only or an individual garden entry, or $35 for entry to the fair and all five open gardens. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for a discounted fee of $8 or $32 respectively. School children are free.
Tickets can be booked online at SHBG.com.au and at individual gardens and the plant fair.
