The meeting will be broadcast to the community through live streaming on council's web page and will begin at 3.30pm.
Several items will be discussed in the first meeting back.
Proposed change of use of an approved boarding house development (nearing completion) to serviced apartments
A proposed change to a development application will be heard before councillors.
The boarding house development is located on 19 Funston Street, Bowral, near the south western corner of the Moss Vale Road, Kangaloon Road and Funston Street roundabout.
The boarding house is set to consist of sixteen units and a manager's unit subject to approval. However a new development application seeks to turn the boarding house into serviced apartments.
Development application to subdivide land on Sir James Fairfax Circuit, Bowral.
A development application to subdivide a block of land will be put before councillors.
The block of land is currently 2004 metres squared. The DA seeks consent to subdivide the land in two vacant residential lots of 1001 metres squared and 1003 metres squared.
There were three neighbour notifications submitted in regards to the development. They concerned solar access, traffic and cumulative impact.
Question with notice - Station Street
Councillor Garry Turland has put forward a question with notice in regards to Station Street.
Cr Turland asked for an updated cost benefit analysis and if there were any other concepts council could investigate on the Station Street project.
Question with notice - Mittagong Pool
Cr Turland has put forward another question with notice over the recent closure of Mittagong Pool.
Cr Turland asked for the periods the pool was closed and the cost of repairs.
Acting general manager Barry Paull noted that the pool had been closed four times in 10 years. The total cost of repairs is currently at $5.89 million. The cost of the recent closure is not currently known.
