The pool was closed in mid-December 2020 after a significant storm and flash flooding event.
Wingecarribee Shire Council's acting general manager Barry Paull said it was with great regret that council made the call.
"After initial clean-up works were complete, investigations found that significant works will be required to bring the three pools back to operational standard," he said.
Council is currently preparing a scope of works to issue to qualified contractors for rectification works.
The Pool will reopen at the commencement of the 2021/22 summer swim season.
Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks patrons in advance for their patience.
