Rare Cancers Australia has held a Golf Day on Friday, December 11, Teeup4rare and raised funds for the organisations patients and carers.
The Southern Highland generosity was on full display as the golf course was full of players who were ecstatic to hit the links and do it all for a great cause.
Rare Cancers Australia Community Engagement Manager, Zac Hulm said it was a fantastic day for all involved.
"We had 81 golfers participate on the day," Hulm said.
"We were very happy with the money raised also. We don't have an exact figure at the moment, but the weather held out and it was an excellent day."
With the pandemic delaying and cancelling events all over the world for 2020, it was a great way for people to unwind in a safe space at the end of a difficult year.
"We were very happy to provide a COVID safe event," Hulm said.
"Everyone was free to participate and we'd like to thank the Highlands Golf Club for all their support."
Rare Cancers Australia would like to thank:
