Elaine Jones, Bob Edwards defeated Ann Brenning, Dave Riddell 25-12 and have made progression to the next round.

The first half of the match was very tight with all players consistently having bowls in the head.
The second half had a powerful display from Jones and Edwards and they went on to a 13 shot victory.
Gail Fraser, Jim Neely defeated Bob Crowley, Lynn Boshier 24-14.
On the day Fraser and Neely outplayed Crowley and Boshier after eleven ends they were in front 18-5 and always made it difficult for Crowley and Boshier to get into the match and went on to a ten shot victory.
Alex Lamb Carl Spilker defeated Enid Brown, Don Coleman 17-16.
There was plenty of energy put into this match and class was the order of the day.
The first half was extremely tight with both sides locked at 9-9 after eleven ends.
The longer the match went it was difficult to pick a winner after 17 ends Brown and Coleman had a 14-12 lead.
At the finish Lamb and Spilker went on to the next round with a tight one shot win.
Reta South, Brian Porter defeated Lurleen Oakes, Tony Oakes 29-11.
South and Porter showed their potential in this match to be a threat to other sides in this championship with a very dominating 18 shot win.
