Peter Morales defeated Rick Reynolds 31-25.
After the first week Morales leading 11-3 he continued with his good form, but Reynolds was not out of the picture only trailing 19-17 after 20 ends.
But, at the finish it was Morales winning the match by six shots.
Keith Edwards defeated Terry Norwood 31-27.
After the first week Edwards had a 7-0 advantage.
After seven ends Edwards had a 8-4 lead then several good shots from Norwood had him taking the lead 11-9 after 14 ends.
Particularly good shots from both players had the match in the balance but at the finish Edwards got up by four shots.
Mike Holmwood defeated Ted McPhee 31-16.
After the first week McPhee had a 7-2 lead but did not carry that form into this week especially as he had a handy lead.
Holmwood was able to come out and play a full range of shots and took the match by 15 shots.
Gordon Lewis defeated Kel Limbrick 31-26.
Lewis had a 6-3 lead after the first week and stretched this to 13- 6 after 12 ends.
Limbrick then started a good range of draw shots to narrow the gap to 13-10.
This spurred Limbrick on and in a tight struggle Lewis held a 25-24 lead at the finish Lewis won by five shots.
Robin Staples defeated Noel Fraser 31-26.
After the first week Fraser had a 3-2 lead.
This was a great game between two top players with both players keeping cool under pressure.
After 20 ends Staples had a 18-16 lead.
Such was the class between the two players scores locked at 23-23 after 26 ends.
At the finish Staples prevailed by five shots.

Bowral bowls coordinator Carl Spilker has announced the quarter finals of the senior singles will be played this Saturday commencing at 1pm.

- Bob Edwards V Eric Willacy
- Gordon Lewis V Mike Holmwood
- Peter Morales V Keith Edwards
