First in the pool at 6:15 was Horton's Heroes facing Oxley Blue.
Horton's Campbell Smith had a cracking game scoring three of the teams goals.
Horton's Heroes defeated Oxley Blue, 8-5.
6:45pm saw Oxley Gold facing Polar Bears.
Sadly this game didn't run its full course as Oxley Gold forfeited.
Polar Bears were looking good as the scores that did not count were at 14-2.
The Dolphins faced off with the Smugglers next.
In a tight affair it was the Dolphins flipping into victory defeating the Smugglers 6-3.
The Dolphins and Polar Bears returned to action, but it was not a close affair.
Dolphin's Daniel Barnes and Ben Canute had excellent games seeing Barnes score five and Canute scoring six goals.
The game ended with the Dolphins winning 14-4.
In the final match of the night, it was Sharks taking on the Mariners.
Shark's Michelle Maitz scored three and Mariners John Jamieson also finding the back of the net three times.
The Sharks bit down and tasted the sweet taste of victory winning 8-4.
